Recently purchased a TYT MD-380G and a Super-Elastic Signal Stick and replaced the original firmware with md380tools from Travis Goodspeed, KK4VCZ. I had some issues where I could transmit audio, but not receive audio. After a bit of fussing with it, I decided to return it and get a TYT MD-380 without GPS and so far everything appears to be working fine.
